My expertise includes disorders of the Thyroid (including thyroid nodules, thyroid ultrasound and FNA nodule biopsy), Type-1 and Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension (including 24h Ambulatory BP Monitoring), Parathyroid, Pituitary and Adrenal gland disorders, Hypogonadism, Menstrual Irregularity, Menopause, Osteoporosis (including zoledronic acid infusions), Bone Metabolism Disorders, and other Endocrine Syndromes. I am an Affiliated Provider with Southern Cross.

I studied Medicine at the University of Glasgow and completed an intercalated BSc(Hons) in Genetics before being awarded MBChB with Commendation in 1999. I began specialising in Endocrinology and Diabetes in 2002 and was awarded a PhD for diabetes research in 2007. After completing a 1 year Fellowship at the Garvan Institute for Medical Research and St. Vincent's Hospital, Sydney I moved to New Zealand in 2010 and live on the North Shore.
